Water is not only considered Earth's most precious resource; it can also be the cause of severe damage in some of the worst natural catastrophes. Not every water loss is caused by natural elements, some can happen due to the malfunction of pipes, appliance failure or overflow and other such accidents.

Extraction, removal & demolition are the most important parts if the process during a water loss and should start immediately. It's extremely important to stop migration & extract water before it continues to spread.  Once it's been stopped, we must take note of the materials in the home, the saturation, the category & class of water causing damage & finally create a drying strategy.

There are 3 categories of water:
CAT 1 - clean water.
CAT 2 - significantly contaminated water.
CAT 3 - grossly contaminated(hazardous) water.
